Hello! My name is Shanler Fisher and I am the owner/operator at The Howliday Inn at Canyon Creek. I was born and raised in a small, rural Kansas town. The town put an animal shelter right down the road. People often dumped their pets on the road instead of paying the fee to surrender them to the shelter. I was the little girl who brought home and named every "stray". When I moved to Texas, I quickly found my local shelter and began volunteering. The shelter was my sanctuary where I could connect with the animals that needed it most. In 2021, I was even named Volunteer of the Year. I have fostered several dogs for different rescue groups as well. Last year, my husband and I sold our restoration business and he told me to finally do what I love most - Loving Dogs! I can't wait to meet yours!
